Bicycles are welcome on a number of VIA Rail trains. Check with them for further information on how to proceed. When travelling on VIA Rail with a bicycle, you should arrive at least one hour prior to your scheduled departure.

For cyclists looking to travel light, several operators provide a luggage transfer service. Others make a shuttle available between two trails or regions or offer roadside assistance in the event you encounter a glitch en route.
